What information do we collect?

Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?

Our servers are in the USA. What is our position on third-party websites?

Our websites and our GLOCASSA Mobile App may contain advertisements from third parties that are not affiliated with us, and which may link to other websites, online services, or mobile applications. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other websites, services, or applications. You should review the policies of such third parties and contact them directly to respond to your questions.

How long do we keep your information?

Summary: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than necessary for the purposes outlined herein.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

Do we collect information from minors?

Summary: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using our websites or our E-Clinic Mobile App, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of any of our services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. What are your privacy rights?

Summary: You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time.

If you are a resident in the European Economic Area and you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority. Account Information

If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can:

Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our terms of service and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.

You will then be removed from the marketing email list. However, we may still communicate with you, for example to send you service-related emails that are necessary for the administration and use of your account, to respond to service requests, or for other non-marketing purposes. Controls for do-not-track features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

Purpose

The goal of this Policy is to enhance and clarify the procedures we have implemented to safeguard sensitive data. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of data security. Our goals are to explain our core data security principles and provide information about the procedures and best practices we’ve implemented to abide by these principles.

Scope

This Policy refers to all parties (employees, users, our affiliates, etc.) who provide any amount of information to us. The provisions in this Policy also apply to all equipment owned and operated by the Company, including all network domains, websites, and mobile applications set up by the Company. The roles and responsibilities outlined in this Policy refer to any, and all employees, managers, investors, users, or contractors of the Company. Data protection is a collective effort and requires hard work, passion, and commitment from every person in this Company. Employees of our Company and its subsidiaries must follow this Policy. Contractors, consultants, partners, and any other external entity are also covered. Generally, our Policy refers to anyone we collaborate with or acts on our behalf and may need occasional access to data.

Non-compliance

The Company is committed to data safety and takes a zero-tolerance approach to carelessness. Any violations of the provisions and procedures in this Policy will be disciplined as per the Company’s disciplinary action procedure, up to and including immediate termination.

Definitions

Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”).

Identifiable Natural Person (INP): INP is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

Policy Elements

As part of our operations, we need to obtain and process information. This information includes any offline or online data that makes a person identifiable such as names, addresses, usernames and passwords, IP address, and other digital footprints, photographs, social security numbers, financial data etc.

Our Company collects this information in a transparent way and only with the full cooperation and knowledge of interested parties. Once this information is available to us, the following rules apply.

Our data will be:

  1. accurate and kept up to date
  2. collected fairly and for lawful purposes only
  3. processed by the company within its legal and moral boundaries

Roles & Responsibilities

It is everyone’s responsibility to read this Data Protection Policy document. It is also a collective duty to speak up about bizarre behaviors, unknown or unusual visitors, gaps in security systems, phishing attempts or lost devices and equipment.

Incident Reporting

All concerns, questions and suspected or known security incidents must be reported using one of the following methods:

Messages sent will be directed to the Data Protection Officer (DPO) who will then identify, assess, and handle the matter in accordance with the procedures and best practices in this policy. Under no circumstances should an individual attempt to cover up or ignore a data security incident.

Incident Response Plan

Upon receiving a report of an incident, the Incident Response Team will conduct a brief preliminary investigation to confirm the incident and identify any immediate actions to remedy the issue (such as resetting passwords or erasing a piece of equipment remotely). Then, the Team will conduct a more thorough investigation of the incident to build a greater understanding of what occurred.
